Seated Calf Lift
- Sit on a chair with legs bent at 90 degrees and feet flat on the floor - Raise heels from the floor as high as you can while leaving the balls of your feet on the ground - SLOWLY lower and repeat - If you would like to make the exercise harder, put a weight on your knees: Start with a lighter weight and build gradually (Bartkowski, 2010). - Below is a video demonstrating the seated calf lift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7rwt4UFx1E |
Squatting Calf Lift
